The Heliodyne systems we offer all feature freeze-proof closed-loop collectors with non-toxic anti-freeze. Pumping and control are completely grid independent, and are done with simple PV power. The brighter and hotter the sun, the faster the pump runs. Heat is transferred to the household water through an efficient side-mounted thermosiphon heat exchanger, so only a single pump is required, and any conventional electric heater tank can be used for storage (60 gallon or larger recommended). lease note: this item ships freight.
