Its 8.5 cubic foot capacity offers reliable long-term food storage, and can accommodate an entire side of beef. In carefully monitored laboratory tests the powerful cooling unit maintained -8¦F interior temperatures or less all the way up to an outside ambient temperature of 80¦F. Fuel use is approximately 1.8 to 2.5 gallons per week, depending on ambient temperature. Has easy-access bottom drain, piezo ignitor, thermostat on/off control, and runs silently.
