Fresh material enters the top; only the oldest, most completely composted material drops out the bottom, into the finishing tray. Won't use electricity unless actually needed. A mechanical cassette with all fans, heaters and thermostats in the top rear makes any service quick, easy and clean. All models can be nonelectric, or a plentiful RE source such as a strong hydro system. The BioLet Standard measures 27' H x 22' W x 29' D. It requires 22' x 40' of floor space for the finishing tray to slide out the front. The Standard model can handle three persons full-time, or five persons for intermittent vacation use.
